Investigators at Lake Stephens are looking for surveillance video from neighbors of an 88-year-old man who was assaulted at his home and died six days later.
According to a press release from the Lake Stevens Police Department, officers responded to a call for help at a home in District 2300 of Cherry Road. Police say the elderly victim was assaulted inside his home.
He died six days later. Police say the cause and method of death will come from the Snohomish County Medical Examination Office.
Now, the police are asking for help from people who live in the area. They are asking residents to check their security cameras for anything suspicious or unusual.
Investigators have not yet identified the potential suspect or vehicle linked to the attack.
