A young woman is killed in an early morning crash shutting down I-24 in Montgomery County.
Frednisha Thompson, 24, was killed in the I-24 Westbound crash near Mile 11.
According to a preliminary report from Tennessee Highway Patrol, Thompson was heading east on westbound lanes and hitting another vehicle. Thompson’s vehicle has reached one final, unsupervised rest of the shoulder.
Two people in the other car, a man and a woman, both 30, were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
There was no word of their injuries.
