Pensacola International Airport adds a new direct flight to Washington, DC

Pensacola International Airport is adding a new non-stop service to Dulles International Airport in Washington, DC beginning in December.

“Pensacola is adding this daily non-stop service to Washington, DC on United Airlines with convenient connections to 16 destinations via United Airlines, including San Francisco International Airport, Cleveland Hopkins International, Newark Liberty Airport, Portland International Airport and Akron Canton Airport,” the city says. Pensacola in a statement.

Daily service between Pensacola International Airport and Dallas International Airport will begin from December 17 to January 4, 2021.

From January 5, 2021 to March 3, 2021, the flight will change to Saturday and Sunday service – then return to daily service until the end of March.

“We are excited to introduce this new service through United Airlines to our community,” said Matt Coughlin, Director of Pensacola International Airport. “It is a testament to the tremendous growth and opportunities we have in Pensacola.”

“We are aware of the massive economic downturn in the aviation industry as a result of COVID-19, and we are delighted that United is committed to Pensacola on this new path,” said Grover Robinson, Mayor of Pensacola. “We are proud of the work our airport continues to do for our community.”
