A 23-year-old man died after driving his SUV off Interstate 290 and colliding with another vehicle
Jacques Giannini, from Wakunda, was driving west around 1:10 pm. Illinois State Police said that, for some unknown reason, he drove his jeep off the I-290 flyover and landed on Grand Avenue, where he collided with a Ford.Police said Giannini was pronounced dead at the scene. The Ford driver, a 58-year-old Addison man, has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries
