Metro Police are investigating after two men were shot dead and left dead outside a house in 2000 by Old Elm Hill Pike, and a third victim was found shot and killed in an SUV.
According to the metro police, the call came around 7:30 pm. Outside the home of 29-year-old Gennaro Daniele. Responding officers found Daniele and 27-year-old Jesus Torero injured in the parking lot. They were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where they died.
According to eyewitnesses, a gunman shot Daniele and Torero from behind the building during an apparent exchange of fire. The gunman fled in a new model of a Chevrolet sedan in burgundy colors bearing the merchant’s marks.
A short time later, a vehicle matching this description operated by three young black men attempted to take down another bullet victim, later identified as 28-year-old Quincharos Edmunds, at TriStar Summit Medical Center. They quickly fled after being approached by hospital staff.
Edmunds was later found dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside his SUV parked on Enon Springs Road in Smyrna. Metro Police presented a surveillance photo of a suspected burgundy Chevrolet sedan.
While executing Daniele’s home search warrant in Old Elm Hill Pike, investigators found seven pounds of marijuana, 500 Ecstasy pills and a gun, and $ 42,836 in cash.
