Woman killed in a stolen car crash

 Police said a 21-year-old woman died in a collision with a stolen car in Chicago’s Lundell neighborhood.

Police said the accident occurred at 1600 blocks of South Homan Avenue at around 10:48 pm.

The woman was heading west on 16th Street when police said her car was hit by a Ford vehicle heading north on Homan Street.

The woman’s death was announced at the scene. Identified by the Cook County Medical Examination Bureau as Juanita Poussell from Chicago.

Police said the driver of the stolen Ford fled on foot and was not in custody.

A boy who was a passenger in a Ford was taken to Struger Hospital in reasonable condition.

A third car was involved in the accident. Police said that no one was injured in that vehicle.

The Chicago Police Major Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the accident.
