A 21-year-old woman was killed in a car accident in Lundell late at night.
Chicago police said that at around 10:50 p.m., a man driving a Ford near Building 1600 of South Homan Street collided with the woman’s vehicle.
Cook County’s police and medical examiner office said the woman, identified as Juanita Bossil, was pronounced dead at the scene. She lived in Hyde Park.
Police said the man fled on foot and a boy in a Ford car was taken to Struger Hospital in reasonable condition.
A police source said the Ford was stolen.
Police stated that a third car was involved in the accident, but there were no reports of injuries.
The Chicago Police Major Accident Unit is investigating.
