Police say a man who was shot in the head early in the morning in North Philadelphia died of his wounds in a local hospital.
The fatal shooting occurred in the 1600th district of Lehigh Street shortly after midnight.
Police say the 37-year-old was found with a shotgun near his body, but it is unclear if he was the rifle used in the fatal shooting.
Police said that at least 11 bullets were fired during the shooting, and several cars were hit.
No arrests have been announced at this time. Police believe the shooting may have been captured by close-up surveillance cameras.
