A man from the south side was killed in an I-57 crash in the southwestern suburbs of Oak Forest.
Two vehicles crashed around 11:20 p.m. On I-57 going south near Cicero Avenue, according to Illinois State Police.
Roosevelt Logan, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the police and the Cook County Medical Examiner Office. He lived in Longwood Manor on the south side.
State Police said that another person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
All lanes heading south for the investigation were closed and traffic was diverted from the highway at 167th Street until 5:10 a.m.
