A man was killed in the aftermath of a shooting at 7700 Building on Pickett Street near Northside in the city, according to the Sheriff’s Office in Jacksonville.
Officers were called to the scene near Edgewood Avenue West around 1:30 p.m., investigators told news partner First Coast News.
Police said a person was seen fleeing the scene near two churches. The shooting appeared to have been targeted.
