A child as young as 14 years old has been charged in Maryland after he raped and killed an 83-year-old woman.
Child Tyrone Harvin was accused of sexually assaulting 83-year-old Dorothy May Neal, and severely beating her until she died.
Police spokesman T Smith expressed his surprise that a young child had committed this heinous crime against an old woman.
Adding, we thought that the one who did it was a strong young man, and we did not imagine that the one who committed this crime was a young boy.
Smith explained that Harvin was charged with first-degree murder and rape, in addition to many other charges.
