Baltimore County Police say 16-year-old Sean Darian Jackson is charged with murder in the death of his infant daughter.
Detectives say, at around 1 a.m., police responded to his home on Enchanted Hills Road in Owings Mills for a cardiac arrest call.
Police found the one-month-old girl with multiple injuries to her upper body.
She was pronounced dead in Sinai Hospital.
Since September 2019, homicide investigators, the Baltimore State Attorney’s office and the chief medical examiner office have been investigating the case.
The chief medical examiner’s office determined that the cause of the child’s death was multiple injuries due to ongoing child abuse. The method of death ruled as murder.Jackson was arrested on September 3, 2020. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center if not on bail pending a review of the bail hearing
