Police are investigating a double shooting incident that killed a 19-year-old and 18-year-old in critical condition outside Eastland Mall. The two young men were shot in the head.
Harper Woods Public Safety says a mall employee discovered the body of the 19-year-old dumped in the parking lot outside Shopper’s World at around 7:20 PM. The 18-year-old was found behind the wheel of a car with a gunshot wound to the head and crashed into a baseball field adjacent to Harper Woods High School.
Witnesses said a black 2019-2020 GMC Terrain with tinted windows and aftermarket chrome trim was seen leaving the scene.
Investigators say there may be a third male victim, but this information is not confirmed.
