Philadelphia Police are looking for two gunmen who killed at least one person and injured six others.
It happened on the 4900 building on Frankford Street around 7:46 pm. In the Frankford section of the city.
Police say it appears that a group of men were standing outside a store when two gunmen began to open fire.
“We have over 30 casings that were found at the scene, so there was a lot of firepower going on here,” said Philadelphia Deputy Police Commissioner Christine Coulter.
A 29-year-old man was shot in the back. He was taken to the district hospital, where he later died.
A 28-year-old man and a 25-year-old man are both listed in very critical condition in a district hospital after they were shot.
Four of the other victims were wounded by different bullets. The four victims are still in hospital in stable condition.
Around the same time as the shooting, a 56-year-old man was shot approximately 15 times at Complex 4500 of Street No. 13 in the Logan district of the city. Police say the victim died in hospital.
No arrests were made in connection with the shooting incident.
