Police say a 9-year-old girl was stabbed to death in Tifton.
The Tifton Police Department said Alazia Johnson was found dead at 7:30 a.m. in the Peterson Apartments. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called in and is investigating the child’s death as a murder.
Johnson’s body was taken to the GBI Medical Examiner office in Decatur for an autopsy.
