Two people were killed in a collision at Shafte.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred around 4 pm. On Poplar Street near Orange Street. The administration said that a high-speed vehicle mounted a stop sign and collided with another vehicle.
The two passengers of that car were seriously injured in the accident and were declared dead at the scene.
