A pedestrian was killed in a crash in the countryside of Cass County, Missouri.
The collision happened around 11:30 pm. On East 299th Street at Southwest Outer Road, which is near Harrisonville.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was hit by a 1989 Chevrolet driving north on East 299 Street.
The soldiers did not elaborate on whether or not a pedestrian was on the road or how the accident occurred.
The man killed was identified as 30-year-old Joseph Montiel from Cleveland, Missouri.
