Three people were shot dead on the eastern side of Indianapolis.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 5400 block from Massachusetts Street shortly after 2:30 a.m.
Officers identified three people who had been shot and declared the three victims dead.
Shortly thereafter, four other people entered the Eastern Community Hospital with bullet wounds.
