Retired officer Berry Hill died in an accident.
The ministry stated that retired Sergeant Perry Hill David Gross was killed in a crash.
Sgt. Gross worked in the department for 20 years and was also a military veteran.
The ministry said his contributions and dedication to law enforcement would really be missed.
He survived his wife and daughter with family and friends.
