An 83-year-old man from Destin was killed in an accident on Interstate 98 in Walton County.
FHP says the accident happened at 11:46 PM. On US Highway 98 in the inner lane that approaches Baytowne Lane.
FHP says Destin man drove his oncoming traffic from the inner lane crossing into eastbound lanes. As a result, his car collided with the front of another vehicle.
The 83-year-old was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the other car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
