Warren Police are investigating after two people – one of them a 6-year-old boy – were found shot to death in a “execution style” in a house.
Warren Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer said the victims were found dead in a 2000 house from Otis Street, near 9 Mile and Decinder.
He told us that the bodies were discovered around 10 am when the Detroit Police Department was conducting a welfare check. We were told that one of the victims was a woman in her twenties, and the other was a boy, who was six. Both were found by bullets.
Dwyer said the DPD was coming home off Otis to report the death of a father who was found dead in Detroit, adding that the door was open and it looked strange. Warren PD is invited to conduct a welfare check when the bodies are found. Dwyer said they are looking for several suspects who have not released the names of the victims, and 20 investigators are now in the case.
We are told that the case is related to a Detroit one, where a man was found dead around 2 am in a burnt car in the 2100 block of Hyde.
We are told that the man found dead in Detroit is the father of the 6-year-old boy, and that the woman who was found dead was the father’s friend.
