A witness was interviewed but the police had no suspicious information in this case.
These two homicide investigations began a few hours after an unrelated shooting at a gas station on Hearts Road in Northside in Jacksonville. The sheriff’s office said that a person was found shot dead in the parking lot and that investigators were looking for a driver of a white SUV.
Police believe a fight led to this shooting.
Shortly after 9:45 p.m., police were called to the Fulares West Cernan apartment complex off Beach Boulevard where four people were taken to hospital after an apartment shooting. The police did not say what triggered the shooting but said they would know more just by talking to the victims.
