Between 4:40 PM and 9:45 PM the Sheriff Jacksonville office was called in for four separate shootings in four different parts of the city. Of the seven people killed, two were victims.
The first fatal shooting was on Higginbotham Street in Baldwin. According to the censor. Adam Blaine, a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound around 8:30 PM. He died at the scene of the accident.
There was no description of the shooter the police were working on.
Around the same time, police were called in to shoot in Arlington after a single-shot man was found lying on the side of Caliente Road, north of Arlington Highway. The organization said that the injury was minor and the victim was treated and released at the scene. A witness was interviewed but the police did not have any suspicious information in that case.
Both shootings were reported a few hours after an unrelated shooting at a gas station on Hearts Road in Northside in Jacksonville. The sheriff’s office said that a person was found shot dead in the parking lot and that investigators were looking for a driver of a white SUV.
Police believe a fight led to this shooting.
Shortly after 9:45 p.m., police were called to the Fulares West Kiernan apartment complex off Beach Boulevard where four people were taken to hospital after an apartment shooting. The police did not say what triggered the shooting but said they would know more by talking to the victims.
Two men were seriously injured and two women are expected to recover.
