Police found the body of a man in a submerged car in a pool on the northeast side.
The pool is located along Pendleton Way, just off the Pendleton Pike and along I-465 ramp to the south walkways. Police were called to the scene shortly after 11:05 AM to 3900 Block of Pendleton Road.
Investigators say the man was killed in a crash, although it is unclear what triggered the accident. Police said there were no immediate signs of tampering.
A person at the scene said that she and her husband were walking with their dog when they found a bumper that matched the one found in the pool.
The car was removed from the pool around 1:20 PM, and the man’s family was notified before his name was announced.
