A 24-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter and is currently in critical condition after a crash that killed three people in Dallas in the early morning.
Police said the accident occurred shortly before 3 a.m. at the intersection of S Master Drive and Old Segouville Road in Pleasant Grove.
Investigators found the suspect was driving at high speed, and as he was heading east onto Old Seagoville Road, his car collided with another vehicle.
A passenger in the suspect’s car was driven away, and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and one of the passengers in the other car were declared dead.
The suspect, who has not yet been identified, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Police said he was found to be under the influence of alcohol, then was arrested on three counts of manslaughter.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
