Two firefighters recover from Seminole after being injured in a home fire.
The fire broke out shortly after noon on Kingway Road in Baldwin County.
The fire chief told us the flames were coming off the roof when they arrived. It took nearly three hours to bring the fire under control in both departments.
Part of the problem they say has been flying bullets.
“We were hearing ammunition going off everywhere. I told you it was scary that we all had to watch ourselves. The landlord told me there was enough ammunition in the house to set Seminole’s words off.”
Firefighting crews say the owners were not home when the fire broke out.
The two men were taken to a local hospital and treated for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fires is still under investigation.
