A woman is killed in an I-83 crash after she lost control of her vehicle and collided with another vehicle.
Around 8:38 am, officers responded to I-83 South near the Pepsi sign to a serious accident.
When the officers arrived, they found a 2008 Chevy Equinox driven by a 32-year-old woman.
The woman was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital where she died shortly thereafter.
The BPD Collision Team is investigating the accident and learned that the woman was heading south on I-83 when she lost control of her vehicle and collided with another vehicle that was lying on the shoulder of the highway.
Police say the car was a result of a previous accident, and the owner was not in the car at the time of the fatal accident.
