One person was killed in a single vehicle crash in Lawrence County, according to Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP).
It happened around 5 am on West Point Road.
THP officials said 28-year-old Timothy Folsom, from Lawrenceburg, was killed in the accident.
Folsom was traveling north on West Point Road in an attempt to overcome a curve when the car swerved to the left and drove off the shoulder. Then he turned counterclockwise and crashed into a tree standing on the passenger’s side. Then he reached the final rest.
No further information was immediately released.
