A man is under arrest after shooting and killing a woman at a Speedway apartment complex in the early morning.
The Speedway Police Department said the shooting occurred around 3:30 a.m. at the Eagle Creek Court Apartment complex in the 6000 of Nalon Lane. This is near the Kruger on Crawfordsville Road in the western side of Indianapolis.
When the police arrived, they found a 21-year-old woman lying on the ground outside the apartment complex suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead shortly.
The department said investigators had arrested Sean Harris, 23, in connection with the case. He was charged with murder at first.
