The deputies of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that a body had been found
According to officials, the body was found floating in Bayou at 470 Freeport Street.
Investigators say that at around 8:30 a.m., a bystander reported seeing a body in the water.
The victim, a black man, was recovered from Bayou at around 11:50 am.
The man did not have an ID, but has been described as being over 6 feet, 250 pounds, and in his 20s or 30s.
