Police say four teenagers, including two 17-year-old girls, were wounded in a shooting in Frankford.
According to police, a barrage of gunfire erupted on 1300 Sanger Street after 10 PM.
Police say a 17-year-old was shot in the leg and another 17-year-old was shot in the elbow. An 18-year-old man was reportedly injured in the right leg and another 19-year-old man was injured in the arm.
Police say the four victims have been taken to district hospitals and they are expected to recover.
The authorities have not announced any arrests yet. There was no word on the cause of the outbreak of armed violence.
