Police say a man died after being found shot in a north Houston parking lot.
The shooting occurred around 10 pm. In the 4900 complex of the Northern Highway.
According to HPD, a nearby resident looked outside after hearing several gunshots and saw the man lying in the parking lot.
The man was injured in the leg. Police say he was taken to hospital, where he later died.
Officers found several pistol casings on the street.
No description of the suspect has been released. The investigation is underway.
