Pensacola, Fl
The Bob Sykes Bridge has reopened to residents and workers.
According to the IslandNews Twitter account, the engineers say “the integrity of the bridge [is good]” and “the damage in the landing zone [should] be fixed.”
The bridge’s speed limit is currently five miles per hour, according to the Gulf Breeze Police Department.
The department says the speed limit is for safety; The road has no support due to the dirt swept through the storm.
So far, there are no plans to close the bridge.
