Basically Gulf Power estimates that all customers in Santa Rosa County will be back in power by midnight, but the wait will be a bit longer for some of the worst-affected areas in Escambia as the recovery of Hurricane Sally continues.
Agents south of Kingsfield Road, including Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key, and Innerarity Point, are appreciated for their strength.
Those north of Kingsfield Road are expected to regain their strength by midnight. Customers are expected to be reclaimed in Century by midnight tomorrow.
As of 8:15 am, 44,200 customers in Escambia and 1,230 in Santa Rosa County are still without electricity. Electricity was restored to 108,750 homes in Escambia Province and 72,970 homes in Santa Rosa County.
Gulf Power is still on track to recover energy to about 95% who can accept the service.
Some of the most affected areas are expected to take longer to recover mainly due to damage, ground conditions, and other factors.
