Three siblings, in their 30s, were accused of raping a 10-year-old girl after she was left alone with them.
Twins, Raoul and Wilmer Buzz Perez, 35, were arrested in Kenner, Louisiana, and charged with raping a victim under the age of 13 in the first degree.
The authorities are looking for the third brother, Sheikh Buzz Perez, 31, on the same charges.
Worryingly, Elder is now wanted on additional charges related to a possible second victim – the girl’s 15-year-old sister.
The two brothers are said to be friends of the victims’ family.
Both Raoul and Wilmer Buzz Perez are from Honduras, and were in the US illegally, the New York Post reported.
The immigration status of Sheikh Buzz Perez was not disclosed.
Police allege that the brothers were alone with the girl at the Kenner home last Wednesday and began molesting her, and even offered her money.
The girl reportedly refused and locked herself in the bathroom before breaking into and raping her.
NOLA.com reported that the men may have used a butter knife to break the lock.
“After the lock was defeated, the three entered the room, took off the victim’s clothes, grabbed her and sexually assaulted her,” Kenner Police Lt. Michael Cunningham told the New York Post.
A relative of the girl called the police on Saturday after learning of the alleged accident.
After their arrest, Raul and Wilmer Buzz Perez were reported to have made conflicting statements to the police.
The twins are currently being held behind bars without restrictions.
Meanwhile, the police are appealing to the public to help locate Sheikh Buzz Perez, whom no one has seen since last Saturday.
“We don’t know where he is – he might be out of state,” said Lieutenant Cunningham.
Investigators say the 15-year-old sister of the 10-year-old victim “uncovered” an incident a few years ago, and are now investigating whether she was sexually assaulted by Elder.
Investigators are also interviewing two brothers of the 10-year-old’s husband.
