A man in his mid-twenties was found mortally wounded on the northeastern side of town.
Indianapolis City Police have been called to the intersection of E. 42nd St. And N. Post Rd. , Based on a report of shooting a person. They discovered a male victim believed to be 24 or 25 years old with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transferred to a hospital in Sknazi in critical condition, and his death was subsequently announced.
IMPD investigators say the shooting occurred at the 4000 block of Hampshire Ct. , Nearby, and that the victim was then transported to Junction 42 and Post. They say it is unclear how many people participated in leading the victim from the crime scene.
