One person was killed and another seriously injured after an early car accident in the province of Escambia.
The accident happened near County Road 95A and Danielle Lane at around 2:49 am.
Florida Highway Patrol reported that a white Lincoln Town Car was driving north on a CR 95A when the driver lost control and got off the road. The car collided with a concrete canal causing it to tip over.
Soldiers say the passenger, who was identified as a 23-year-old man from Cantonment, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. The driver, a 22-year-old man from Molino, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The soldiers added that the passenger suffers from serious injuries.
