Altmore Police are searching for a suspect wanted for the assault and theft that occurred on West Preston Street.
Police say the victim was walking down West Preston Street near North Howard Street at about 2 am when the suspect approached him.
According to reports, the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife several times during the robbery.
Investigators created the scheme, hoping to catch this person.
The victim was treated for his injuries.
