A person was shot in an apartment complex in Escambia County early Thursday morning, according to the Escampia County Sheriff’s Office.
ECSO spokeswoman Amber Southard told the NewsJournal that MPs were dispatched around 2 a.m. Thursday to the Oakwood Terrace Apartments at 700 Truman Ave.
Representatives found a gunshot victim in the parking lot of the complex. The victim sustained minor injuries.
“They were not very cooperative with the investigators or explicit about who shot them,” Southard said.
