The Mansfield Police Department is investigating a fatal accident in a McDonald’s car.
It happened at the store at 540 North Trimble Rd. During lunch time.
Police found a 69-year-old man unresponsive in a pickup truck while driving.
According to police, the man was injured when he hit a steel pole in the car.
He was injured in the upper limbs, according to a police report, and he was declared dead at the scene.
Police say there is no indication of drug or alcohol involvement.
Toxicology results are outstanding.
The accident is still under investigation.
