A 29-year-old man was shot in the eye from a paintball in South Loop.
Chicago police said that at around 12:30 a.m., he was standing on the sidewalk in Building 700 of South Michigan Avenue with another 26-year-old man when someone in a white sedan fired a paintball gun at them.
Police said the 29-year-old was injured in the eye and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in a fair condition. The second man was hit in the chest, and he was not injured.
Third region investigators are investigating.
