Detroit Police are investigating gunfire on the East Side that ended with the killing of a man and the wounding of a woman early in the morning.
Police said the shooting took place around 4 am on Gable Street, west of Mound Road and south of McNicalls.
According to Detroit police, when they arrived, they found the body of a 24-year-old man on the street and said he had been hit by at least one bullet.
A 24-year-old woman was found with gunshot wounds nearby and was taken to hospital for treatment and she is in critical condition.
Police said they have no shooting suspect and are asking anyone with Detroit Police’s contact information.
