Officers are investigating a road fight on the West Side that resulted in a man colliding with a car, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Sgt. Jacob Vorball, of the sheriff’s office, said that investigators were called to the scene of the Macduff Street and McCloyd Street accident at around 5:30 p.m. When they arrived, the police said the fight was between a person driving a car and another person on the road. He said that someone fired a bullet from a weapon and that the driver of the car had hit the man on the road.
Forbal said that “all parties involved” were believed to be in police custody.
