Representatives said that an infant left in a hot car in a Florida home died.
Bay County police officials said the newborn was left in the car “possibly for several hours.”
The high temperatures in Panama City reached around 90 degrees
Officials said a deputy performed CPR and the EMS arrived within minutes, but they were unable to rescue the infant who died at the scene.
“The BCSO criminal investigation is conducting an investigation into the death and is talking to witnesses to set a timeline of events,” MPs wrote.
