The Kern County sheriff’s office is investigating a shooting incident that killed a man in East Bakersfield early.
A person was found dead on the road on Niels Street near Palm Drive, west of Mount Vernon Street, around 2:40 a.m. Representatives say the man was hit by at least one bullet.
Investigators are investigating the murders and no suspicious information is available at this time.
