Police say a young man may have been shot dead on a mobile phone in North Philadelphia. The shooting occurred around 1 a.m. at 2300 Edgley Street.
Police say they found the victim was bleeding profusely and did not respond. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
“He was 20 years old,” Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector said. Scott Small said. “A witness reported that they were with some females and the females stole at least one of their cell phones, then a group of males encountered them and then these males fired at least one bullet that hit the man and caused his collapse.”
The police did not make any arrests in the case.
