A man is killed when he is hit by a vehicle in eastern Nashville.
Officers reacted after 1:30 a.m. to the Dickerson Pike crash on Grizzard Avenue.
Metro Police said that a man was hit by a car and taken to a district hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his wounds.
The driver of the car involved was at the scene when police arrived and were cooperating with the investigation, the officers said.
The investigation is underway.
No additional information was immediately released.
