Police said a 7-year-old boy was hit by a stray bullet in Albany, New York.
The shooting happened shortly before 3:30 pm. On Clinton Street. The department said Albany police had arrived to find a boy who had been shot in the knee. Emergency crews took him to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for the injury. Authorities said he did not believe his wound was life-threatening.
Police also learned that a 30-year-old man was injured in his buttocks and legs during the same shooting, and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening wounds, the authorities said.
