A motorcyclist was killed in a crash near Brent Lane and Interstate 110, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Soldiers say the accident happened around 1:05 AM.
According to the report, the biker, who was later identified as a 28-year-old Pensacola man, was driving at high speed approaching Brent Lane’s overpass in the central travel lane when he collided with the back of a pickup truck and continued walking. The left shoulder is stacked out of the way.
The motorcycle hit a central concrete barrier and the man was thrown off the bike. The report says EMS announced his death at the scene.
