Chicago police say four people were killed and at least nine others wounded in gunfire across the city this weekend.
The first fatal shooting was reported in the city around 7 PM. At 4600 Block North Casson. According to police, an 18-year-old man was standing on a sidewalk when a person got off a dark SUV and started shooting at him.
The man was injured in the chest and stomach, and was taken to an Illinois Masonic, where he was pronounced dead.
Fifth District investigators are investigating the shooting, and there are no suspects currently in custody.
Less than 20 minutes later, another fatal shooting was reported at the 900 block of West 50th Street. According to the authorities, three people were sitting on the front porch of a home when a person in a passing black SUV shot them, wounding two of the victims.
A 39-year-old man was shot in the legs and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
A 66-year-old woman injured her shoulder and was transferred to the University of Chicago in critical condition. The third victim, a 48-year-old man, was hit by a glass fall, and she is in good condition in Saint Bernard.

A 31-year-old woman was shot in the thigh and is in good condition in Al-Masih Hospital, according to police. District Two investigators are investigating the shooting, and there are no suspects in custody.
